Matt’s TL;DR: The real-time render is great and draws people to the smartmirror, hence why their Valentino pop-up in NYC was a huge hit. However, diving deeper into the tech, it’s really just Snapchat’s SDK and a few great AR lenses, although the company is so young that they’re willing to custom build more proprietary solutions for brands.
